I led the development of the Ohneganos Ohnegahdęproject, an Indigenous water research initiative led by Dr. Dawn Martin Hill of McMaster University, focusing on an immersive Virtual Reality Experience. This project brings the Haudenosaunee creation narrative to life, guiding users on a virtual journey along the Grand River, with significant stops at a Longhouse and Knowledge Centre, where they witness the environment transform over time. By integrating interactive, gamified elements, the experience engages participants in exploring water's cultural and historical significance for the Haudenosaunee people, blending storytelling, education, and cutting-edge technology to preserve and share this vital knowledge.

Driving forward an ambitious initiative, we collaborated with Cavan Cook, a Mohawk College transportation instructor, to design an engaging VR experience for OVIN’s Region Future Workforce Program. Our mission was to reshape how students view skilled trades and automotive careers by immersing them in a dynamic, gamified world. We created hands-on, interactive simulations packed with engaging challenges that transformed learning into a thrilling experience, breaking down stigmas and igniting excitement for future opportunities in the industry.

The Aerial Tower (ATS) VR experience was developed to support the Aerial Tower Communication Specialist micro-credential program. Industry partners challenged the Mohawk College XR team to create an immersive and realistic simulation that captures the excitement and intensity of climbing a communication tower. The result is a VR experience that delivers the thrill of scaling great heights, with safety as a core focus. Comprehensive safety checks are incorporated before the climb, ensuring an engaging yet secure way for individuals to explore this profession and assess their comfort level with high-altitude work.

This immersive simulation breaks down the repair steps, providing clear and interactive instruction to enhance understanding and skill development. By offering a realistic, hands-on environment, the VR experience helps students gain practical knowledge and confidence in executing maintenance tasks safely and efficiently.
